The 2009 Limited Edition is based on the new LE2009 Carve Top design that adds a luxurious touch to the wildly popular Modern 24-fret design. Featuring a carved 3/4" figured Maple top, the LE2009 Carve Top has more high-end brilliance and a tighter sound than the flat-top Modern. The carve is subtle compared to the Standard Carve Top visually, but it is still a spectacular sight to behold and savor.
The 2009 LE will also be available with several different options. You can choose either Quilted Maple top (as shown) or Flame Maple top, especially sorted and picked out for the LE. You also have the option of the Gotoh double-locking bridge (as shown) or the Gotoh 510TS-FE1 bridge for those players who prefer the more traditional tremolo unit. And lastly, you can choose from three different color options: Faded Trans Whale Blue Burst (as shown), Natural Gloss, or Faded Teardrop Honey Burst. With these options, you can get a personalized 2009 LE that better suits your taste - both visually and functionally.
