   Working with some of our top endorsing artists such as Scott Henderson and Michael Landau, we are proud to introduce and offer the long-awaited Handwired Series amps custom built and wired by John Suhr himself. Based on classic vintage British designs from the late-60's and early-70's, the Handwired Series all-tube heads have attitude, feel, power, vibe and the tone.

   Featuring the very best components that John can find as well as elegant design and unmatched craftsmanship, these amps are built to take the pounding of the road night after night and produce some of the most exquisite guitar sounds imaginable. The prototypes built for Scott and Mike have been on various world tours over the past two years and haven't had a single problem.

   You can count on these amps to perform flawlessly and faithfully in the most demanding conditions and you can expect righteous tones everytime you plug in.

   The Handwired Series amps are for the serious player who relies on his hands more than anything else to define his tone and style. What you put into it is what you'll get out of it. Don't expect these amps to hide sloppy technique; every little detail of your technique and touch will come through loud and clear.    You've worked for years on honing your tone and style. You are comfortable with your guitars and the pickups and the way you physically interact with them.    The Suhr Handwired Series amps is only available direct from Suhr due to very limited quantities that will be built by John Suhr himself. John is an extremely busy person who has to oversee the company's operations and product quality control, design various new guitars and amps and other related products like pickups and line mixers, etc., and also interact with customers and artists on a daily basis via email, phones and Internet discussion groups.

   So John won't be cranking out these amps like a production line; these will be personally built and signed by John on very limited basis. But please don't buy one of these amps as a collector's piece. These amps (as well as all of our products) were designed and are being built to create great guitar sounds in professional applications - both live on stage and in major recording studios. You'll only have to focus on creating music, not fiddling with gear to find that sound dancing in your head.

   The Handwired Series amps are avaiable in three versions: SH100, ML100 and the SE100. The SH100 is the Scott Henderson 100w all-tube head based on CH2 of the OD-100 Classic. It is raw, powerful, fast, unforgiving yet extremely dynamic, toneful and beautifully musical. It loves pedals on the front end for those who like to experiment with different kinds of boost, overdrive, fuzz, and distortion pedals for various shades of tonal colors.

   The ML100 built to Michael Landau's specs is based on CH2 of the popular OD-100 Classic Plus. The ML100 has more gain than the SH100 as well as a more forgiving tactile response. Still, it's quite similar to the SH100. If you like to rely more on pedals for your tone, then we recommend the SH100. If you like to get more of your overdrive tone from the amp, then we recommend the ML100.

   Finally, there's the SE100 based on our popular OD-100 SE Plus amp's fire-breathing CH2. This monster has gobs of gain that is articulate for authentic 80's hard rock and metal sounds as well as all-out shred. It is the ultimate "hot rod" amp. From classic rock and blues to saturated modern metal sounds, the Suhr Handwired Series has something seriously cool for you: the serious electric player.
